New York:United Nations: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain's Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with his Omani counterpart, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, during the UN General Assembly.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing the historical ties between Bahrain and Oman and explored ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields to support their shared interests and objectives.
The ministers also discussed regional developments, emphasizing the importance of ensuring freedom of maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and promoting regional security and stability. They exchanged views on several issues of mutual interest.
