Manama: In the presence of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Excellency Nikos Christodoulides, President of the Republic of Cyprus, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Ministry of Education, Sport, and Youth of the Republic of Cyprus during the President's official visit to Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the MoU was signed by Dr. Mohammed Bin Mubarak Juma, Bahrain's Minister of Education, and Dr. Constantinos Kombos, Cyprus's Minister of Foreign Affairs. Dr. Juma emphasized the longstanding relationship between the two nations and highlighted the significance of enhancing cooperation, especially in educational sectors, to meet common goals.
The agreement is designed to facilitate mutual academic recognition of higher education qualifications between Bahrain and Cyprus. This initiative is expected to expand opportunities for students by allowing access to a broader range of study options and educational resources in various academic fields across both countries.
