Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,983.05 points, marking an increase of 0.89 points above the previous closing. This comes as a result of a rise in the financials and consumer staples sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index, however, saw a decrease, closing at 961.89 points, marking a drop of 1.87 points below the previous closing. The trading session saw 104 equity transactions with a volume of 1,485,262, amounting to BD 607,886.
Investors predominantly focused on the communications services sector, which represented 60.78% of the total value of securities traded.
