Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,939.86 points, marking a decrease of 1.63 points below the previous closing. This decline was primarily attributed to downturns in the financials and materials sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index, however, saw a slight increase, closing at 920.04 points, which is 0.14 points above its previous closing. The trading session witnessed 117 equity transactions with a trading volume of 2,641,165 and a total worth of BD 782,750.
Investors showed significant interest in the financials sector, which comprised 84.27% of the total value of securities traded.
