President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received here today the Acting Secretary-General of the Kuwaiti National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL), Dr. Isa Al-Ansari.
Dr. Al-Ansari’s visit is within the framework of efforts to consolidate cultural cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
BACA President welcomed Dr. Al-Ansari, and commended NCCAL’s efforts to support creativity in all fields of cultural work, stressing the need to achieve the highest levels of cultural exchange between the two countries.
The two sides reviewed cultural issues of mutual concern, and discussed ways to enhance bilateral intellectual and cultural cooperation.
Dr. Al-Ansari affirmed the deep-rooted Bahraini-Kuwaiti cultural relations, stressing the need to open up new channels of communication among culture officials in GCC countries to enhance joint cultural action.
