Manama: Counselor Wael Rashid Bualay, Assistant Attorney General, received Dr. Ahmed bin Talib Al Jabri, Deputy Chairman of Oman's National Committee for Combating Human Trafficking, and his accompanying delegation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the visit focused on reviewing Bahrain's anti-trafficking efforts, highlighting initiatives by the Anti-human Trafficking Prosecution and the Victim and Witness Protection Office. The delegation had the opportunity to tour child-friendly interview rooms, where they commended Bahrain's achievements in combating human trafficking.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Ali Al Showaikh, Chief Prosecutor of the Anti-human Trafficking Prosecution, underscoring the collaborative efforts in addressing human trafficking issues within the region.
