Antonelli secured his eighth Grand Prix victory of the season after winning the strategic race on the new Madring circuit, while his Mercedes teammate George Russell finished the race in fifth place.Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc finished fourth, while Racing Bulls driver Liam Lawson finished sixth in the race, which was held over 57 laps on the Madring circuit, which is 5.4 kilometres long. With his victory, 20-year-old Antonelli raised his tally to 292 points, 81 points ahead of his teammate Russell, who has 211 points. Hamilton is third on 191 points, followed by Norris on 186 points, Leclerc on 167 points, and Verstappen on 145 points.
