Ambassador to US Highlights Bahrain’s Role in Board of Peace Reflecting King’s Approach

Washington: Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States of America, emphasized that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's decision to join the Board of Peace demonstrates Bahrain's commitment to tolerance, coexistence, and openness. This move positions Bahrain as an active partner in supporting international peace and security. His Majesty accepted the invitation extended by US President Donald Trump, underscoring Bahrain's dedication to these values. According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Abdullah praised the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for devising practical plans to implement His Majesty's initiatives. These efforts aim to support global peace and promote cultural understanding among nations. Shaikh Abdullah highlighted the significance of the Board of Peace, established under President Trump's leadership, which focuses on implementing a peace and reconstruction plan for Gaza and addressing other conflicts. The Board's mission, with a three-year renewable membership, is a pivotal step toward achieving regional peace and fostering dialogue and peaceful resolutions. He also conveyed Bahrain's appreciation for President Trump's efforts to implement the peace plan for Gaza, aiming to enhance security and stability in the region and globally.
