Ambassador of Bahrain Engages with OIC Human Rights Commission Executive Director

Riyadh: Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, Ambassador of Bahrain to Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), met with Hadi bin Ali Al Yami, Executive Director of the OIC's Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission. The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration and initiatives to enhance human rights awareness within OIC member states.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman extended his congratulations to Dr. Al Yami on his recent appointment. He expressed confidence in Dr. Al Yami's leadership to further the Commission's mission of promoting and protecting human rights throughout OIC member countries. The discussion centered on enhancing cooperation and joint efforts to elevate human rights awareness, aligning with Islamic principles of justice and equality.

Dr. Al Yami commended Bahrain for its ongoing support of the OIC and its active involvement in promoting humanitarian principles and defending Islamic world causes on the international stage. Both parties emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration to advance the OIC's mission and bolster its influence regionally and internationally.
