Tripoli: Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Eid, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Tunisia, participated in the 63rd session of the Arab Health Ministers Council and its Executive Bureau meeting in Libya, alongside Arab health ministers.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the council reviewed developments in the health sector of the State of Palestine and discussed successful health initiatives in Arab countries to exchange expertise and improve the quality of health services across the region.
The session focused on the Arab strategy for developing primary healthcare and family medicine for 2026-2030. It also addressed topics such as the Arab Authority for Blood Transfusion Services and the Arab Development Summit's decision on investment in health human resources.
Additionally, the council discussed the work of the Arab Board of Health Specialisations and the Arab Centre for Authorship and Translation of Health Science, aiming to support health education, training, and professional qualification at the Arab level.
The session concluded with the adoption of resolutions and recommendations, highlighting the importance of strengthening coordination and integration among Arab states to advance joint Arab health action in response to current and future health challenges.
