Ambassador Highlights Robust Bahrain-UAE Relations on UAE’s 54th National Day

Abu dhabi: Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Arab Emirates, praised the enduring ties between Bahrain and the UAE as a model of Gulf integration. He emphasized that these relations have flourished under the guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Khalid extended congratulations to HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, the members of the UAE Supreme Council, the rulers of the Emirates, the people of the UAE, and all residents on the occasion of the UAE's 54th National Day. He wished for ongoing security, prosperity, and development for the nation.

He noted that Bahrain-UAE relations transcend conventional diplomacy, representing a longstanding partnership and shared strategic interests. These relations are based on mutual understanding and cooperation established by the late Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and have been further strengthened under the leadership of His Majesty the King and HH the UAE President.

Shaikh Khalid highlighted the bilateral relationship as one built on trust, shared objectives, and a common vision for sustainable development. Over the years, this relationship has been reinforced by consistent principles and aligned priorities, serving as a model of Gulf unity and strategic integration.

He emphasized the steady advancement of cooperation between the two countries, with significant potential in areas such as investment, digital economy, renewable energy, food security, defence, health, culture, and tourism, enhancing their regional influence.

Shaikh Khalid also highlighted the high level of coordination in supporting strategic projects and development initiatives, reflecting shared aspirations for sustainable progress. Bahraini-Emirati cooperation remains pivotal to advancing GCC objectives, aligning positions on regional and international issues, and promoting joint security and development, while reinforcing both countries' participation in international forums.

He cited the Bahrain-UAE Joint Higher Committee's role in opening new avenues for collaboration, noting the joint exercise "Rabdan Shuwaiman" 2025 in Bahrain as a practical demonstration of close bilateral coordination, enhancing operational readiness and capabilities.

Shaikh Khalid acknowledged the UAE's achievements across multiple sectors, reaffirmed the Kingdom's commitment to its strategic partnership with the UAE, and expressed hope for the continued advancement of bilateral relations, benefiting both countries and their citizens, while supporting ongoing security, stability, and sustainable development in the UAE.
