Manama: Al Areen Leisure and Tourism Company announced the signing of a USD 30 million agreement to redevelop and upgrade The Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park, the largest and most popular family water park in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The project is part of a comprehensive rebranding plan under which the park will be renamed "Janat Dilmun", reflecting Bahraini culture and marking a new era of innovation and immersive family entertainment experiences.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the signing ceremony took place during the Gateway Gulf 2025 Forum, in the presence of senior representatives from all parties, including Ameen Al Arrayed and Majed AlKhan, Board Members of The Lost Paradise of Dilmun, Dr. Essa Faqih, Chief Executive Officer of Areen Hospitality, and Aaron Wilson, Senior Vice President of ProSlide Technology Inc., the global leader in the design of water attractions, along with key project partners leading the redevelopment efforts.

The first phase of the "Janat Dilmun" project will include the enhancement of the park's fa§ade and internal facilities, as well as the introduction of two world-class attractions: "Hive 35", the first of its kind in the Middle East, and "RideHouse", a multi-slide complex featuring one of the largest tipping buckets in the world.
