Ras hayyan: Hala Mohamed Jaber Al Ansari, Advisor to His Majesty the King for Cultural and Scientific Affairs, visited the Bahrain Festival at the Heritage Village in Ras Hayyan. The festival was organised by the Ministry of Information to mark the Kingdom of Bahrain's National Day and the 26th anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's accession to the throne, along with the accompanying national events.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Ansari viewed the festival's artistic and heritage activities, sites documenting Bahrain's civil and educational development, and traditional performances and folk arts reflecting the country's cultural heritage and identity.
She emphasised that events like this demonstrate the continuous support for culture and heritage in the Kingdom, in line with the directives and vision of His Majesty the King to preserve the national heritage and promote it in all national celebrations.
At the end of the visit, Al Ansari commended the festival's organisation and the professionalism of those involved. She noted that the festival strengthens national identity, fosters pride in Bahrain's heritage, and helps educate future generations about the country's history and civilisational achievements while providing a national platform to celebrate the Kingdom's occasions and engage the community with its authentic heritage.
