Manama:Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, the Deputy National Security Advisor and Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council of Bahrain, met with Yasuhiro Kobe, the Assistant Chief Cabinet Secretary and Deputy Secretary General of Japan's National Security Secretariat. This meeting took place on the sidelines of the 22nd IISS Manama Dialogue, an event organized by the International Institute for Strategic Studies.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was also attended by Asako Okai, the Ambassador of Japan to Bahrain. Shaikh Khalid bin Ali praised the strong and evolving relationship between Bahrain and Japan, highlighting the progress in their collaboration across various sectors.
The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and exploring new opportunities to further the interests of both nations. Additionally, the meeting addressed regional developments, emphasizing the need for ongoing coordination to ensure security and stability in the region.
