Manama:Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in a phone conversation with Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussion between the two ministers focused on the close and longstanding ties between Bahrain and Pakistan, with an emphasis on expanding cooperation across various fields. They also considered enhancing joint coordination and consultation during their respective non-permanent memberships in the United Nations Security Council.
The conversation also included discussions on the latest regional developments and ongoing efforts at both regional and international levels to de-escalate tensions and maintain regional security and stability. Both ministers exchanged views on several issues of mutual concern.
