Sakhir:Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), known as 'The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East,' is set to kick off the Ebrahim K Kanoo Drag and Drift Nights for the 2026-2027 season on Monday, 26 October. The event will take place at the circuit in Sakhir, welcoming motorsport enthusiasts to participate in both drag racing and drifting activities.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the event will run from 6pm to 11pm, with participation fees set at BD11 for both activities or BD8 for either drag racing or drifting. Participants are required to have their cars or motorbikes undergo technical scrutineering on-site before completing registration at the venue.
The drag racing will occur on BIC's world-class quarter-mile drag strip, while drifting will be hosted in a dedicated vehicle dynamics area. Those interested in experiencing the events as passengers can do so for an additional fee of BD4.500. Spectators can purchase tickets for BD2 each through BIC's official website or by contacting the BIC Hotline.
BIC's drag strip is recognized as a leading facility within the Worldwide Network of the US-based National Hot Rod Association.
