Budaiya:The Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture has opened registration for the 14th edition of the Bahraini Farmers' Market, set for the 2026-2027 season. Registration will run from Sunday, October 18, to Saturday, October 31.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Jaafar Sami Al Tajer, Director of Local Agricultural Production at the ministry and Head of the Market Supervisory Team, stated that the upcoming market will be held at Budaiya Botanical Garden. The initiative is in collaboration with the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) and stc Bahrain.
The market aims to support Bahraini farmers by offering direct marketing opportunities and showcasing the quality of local agricultural products. It also supports entrepreneurial projects and productive families involved in agriculture. Registration is open to various participants, including farmers, agricultural companies, nurseries, apiaries, restaurants, cafés, and date producers. Entrepreneurs and families offering locally processed agricultural products can also register.
Interested parties can register through the ministry's website or via its Instagram account, as well as the Bahraini Farmers' Market Instagram account. The organizing committee has planned a range of events and activities to take place every Saturday throughout the season, ensuring a vibrant experience for visitors.
The market has become a popular shopping and entertainment destination, attracting an increasing number of visitors each year.
