Manama:Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, the Minister of Social Development, welcomed Jasem Al Najem, the newly appointed Ambassador of Kuwait to Bahrain, marking the beginning of his diplomatic tenure in the kingdom.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister extended his best wishes to Ambassador Al Najem for success in his role and highlighted the longstanding and evolving relationship between Bahrain and Kuwait. This relationship is supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait.
During their meeting, they explored ways to enhance cooperation and coordination in social development and civil society. They also discussed the exchange of expertise in the development of social services and programs.
Ambassador Al Najem expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Social Development for the cordial reception. He praised the strong bilateral ties and reiterated his commitment to furthering cooperation in social fields of mutual interest.
