Accra:Spot gold prices saw a rise of 0.2% to $4,177.82 per ounce on Friday, although they experienced a decline of 0.5% over the course of the week.
According to Bahrain News Agency, US gold futures for December delivery also saw an increase, gaining 0.7% to reach $4,199.10 per ounce.
In the broader market for precious metals, spot silver rose by 0.7% to $57.81 per ounce. Other notable gains included platinum, which increased by 1.1% to $1,642.75, and palladium, which climbed 1.5% to $1,143.46.
