Manama:Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa, President at the Court of the Crown Prince, commended the royal address delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The address was made during the inauguration of the fifth session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura and Representatives Councils, and it emphasized the importance of national unity and joint efforts to further Bahrain's comprehensive development.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed highlighted that the royal directives serve as a guiding framework for national action and the protection of Bahrain's achievements. This guidance is provided under the leadership of His Majesty the King and the direction of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed also underscored that the royal address reaffirmed the priority of focusing on the interests of Bahrain and its citizens. He noted the crucial role of national solidarity and the cooperation between the executive and legislative branches in continuing progress and realizing the aspirations of the people.
Additionally, Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed expressed pride in the royal directive naming the forthcoming year as the "Year of Isa bin Salman". He described this designation as a tribute to the late His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa and his lasting legacy in establishing the modern Bahraini state.
