Accra:The Kingdom of Bahrain has expressed its appreciation for the United Arab Emirates National Guard Command's Coast Guard Division following their successful rescue of an Asian crew from an oil tanker that caught fire in the Arabian Gulf.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs commended the UAE forces for their quick response and effective maritime emergency capabilities, which were crucial in saving lives and providing essential medical aid to the survivors.
The Ministry's statement also highlighted Bahrain's ongoing call for improved regional and international collaboration to ensure the safety of commercial shipping, protect maritime crews, and maintain freedom of navigation through critical sea lanes. The statement emphasized that securing these vital transit corridors is imperative for safeguarding global energy supplies, facilitating international trade, and preserving regional stability.
