Arusha:Johari bin Abdul, Speaker of the Malaysian House of Representatives, has commended Bahrain for its success in hosting and organizing the 2026 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. He highlighted the robust and growing ties between Bahrain and Malaysia during a meeting with MP Ahmed Sabah Al Saloom. This meeting took place on the sidelines of the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Arusha, Tanzania, from October 5 to 9.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Johari expressed the Malaysian Parliament's eagerness to enhance bilateral cooperation and lauded the efforts of Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives and President of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, for his role in promoting bilateral and Asian parliamentary relations.
MP Ahmed Sabah Al Saloom also acknowledged the ongoing development of ties between Bahrain and Malaysia. He noted that Bahrain's successful organization of the 2026 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix is a testament to the effective cooperation between the two nations.
