Manama:Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, held a meeting with Jassem Ibrahim Al Najem, the newly appointed Ambassador-designate of Kuwait to Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the strong and enduring relationship between Bahrain and Kuwait, which is built on solid foundations and receives ongoing attention from both His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait.
He pointed out the high level of cooperation and coordination between the two nations, which is furthered by the active involvement of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, and His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah, the Crown Prince of Kuwait. This collaboration aims to enhance their shared visions and bring benefits to both countries and their peoples.
Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla wished the ambassador success in his diplomatic role, highlighting the importance of building on existing achievements across various fields to serve mutual interests and support joint Gulf initiatives.
The discussions also covered topics of mutual interest and recent regional and international developments. The Kuwaiti Ambassador-designate expressed gratitude to the Deputy Prime Minister, reaffirming his commitment to strengthening the close ties between the two countries and expanding cooperation in multiple areas. He also conveyed his good wishes for Bahrain's continued progress and prosperity.
