Social Development Minister Engages in Global Social Responsibility Forum

Riyadh:Social Development Minister Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi participated in the International Social Responsibility Forum's second edition, held in Riyadh under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the event was organized by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and focused on the theme "From Commitment to Impact." During the forum, Minister Al Alawi stressed the shared responsibility of social development among the government, private sector, and civil society, emphasizing the need for coordinated efforts to enhance social impact and support sustainable development.

Minister Al Alawi also highlighted Bahrain's national initiatives, such as the National Volunteering Platform, showcasing the country's success stories and leading models in social responsibility. The forum's objectives included promoting global dialogue on social responsibility and sustainability, transitioning from commitments to tangible outcomes, sharing expertise and success stories, and exploring innovative ideas and technologies to improve social responsibility practices. These efforts aim to create a lasting impact on society, the economy, and the environment.
