Manama:A telephone conversation took place between His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, and His Excellency Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussion focused on the preparations for the 2026 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, which Malaysia will host. This event will be the 22nd edition of the Grand Prix and is supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia.
Prince Salman expressed gratitude to the Malaysian Prime Minister for his cooperation and support in ensuring the event's success. The call also addressed the strong bilateral relations between Bahrain and Malaysia, highlighting ongoing cooperation and partnerships in various sectors to achieve shared goals.
