Bahrain Ambassador Opens Motorsport Medicine Seminar in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur:Dr. Waleed Khalifa Al Mana, the Ambassador of Bahrain to Malaysia, participated in the opening of the 15th Bahrain Motorsport Medicine Malaysia Seminar 2026. The seminar, themed "One Team, One Response: Delivering Medical Care at Formula 1 Speed," involved medical teams from both Bahrain and Malaysia. It was organized as part of the preparations for the 2026 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Ambassador Al Mana remarked that the event involves over 500 Bahrainis who are contributing alongside their Malaysian counterparts. He emphasized that the Grand Prix is more than just a sporting event for Bahrain; it symbolizes trust, partnership, and friendship between Bahrain and Malaysia, and marks a new chapter in Bahrain's relationship with Formula 1.

He also noted the increasing Bahraini presence in Malaysia, highlighted by the launch of Gulf Air's direct flights between Bahrain and Kuala Lumpur and the inauguration of the new Bahraini Embassy premises in Kuala Lumpur. This expansion reflects the growing cooperation between the two nations in various fields such as diplomacy, aviation, business, tourism, sports, and professional sectors.
