Bahrain Bourse Board Reviews Strategic Progress in Third 2026 Meeting

Manama:The Board of Directors of Bahrain Bourse convened its third meeting for the year 2026, chaired by Yusef Abdulla Al Yusef, on Wednesday, September 30.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Board examined the agenda topics and assessed the status of previous resolutions and recommendations. They also evaluated progress reports concerning strategic projects, key performance indicators, and the consolidated financial position, as well as Bahrain Bourse's performance report. This review is part of the Board's oversight of the strategic objectives within the Capital Market Development Plan (2026-2028), known as "Elevate."

In line with Bahrain Bourse's dedication to enhancing governance and risk management, the Board conducted a regular review of internal policies. This review aligns with evolving operational needs and institutional best practices. As a result, several new and updated internal policies were approved.

The Board reiterated its support for strategic initiatives and projects aimed at advancing Bahrain's capital market, improving organizational efficiency, and reinforcing Bahrain Bourse's status as a leading regional financial and investment hub.
