Manama:The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced that the monthly issuance of the six-month short-term Ijara Murabaha Sukuk has been oversubscribed by 141%.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the subscriptions amounted to BD 70.531 million for the BD 50 million issue with a maturity period of 182 days.
The expected return on this issue, which commences on October 1 and matures on April 1, 2027, is 5.77%, an increase from the previous September 3 issue's return of 5.60%.
The Ijara Murabaha Sukuk are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This specific issuance is identified as 6IM/14 with ISIN BH00026D9X65 in the short-term Ijara Murabaha Sukuk series.
