Jerusalem:Bahrain Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on significant national and international events over the past 24 hours.
According to Bahrain News Agency, key discussions included HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister chairing the weekly Cabinet meeting and Bahrain's condemnation of a terrorist attack on a security checkpoint in northwest Pakistan. Additionally, the Industry Ministry has developed a digital service for transferring commercial registration ownership.
The Finance Minister participated in the Arab Monetary Fund's Golden Jubilee celebration, while the Royal Humanitarian Foundation laid the foundation stone for the Bahrain Endowment for Education and Orphans project in Jerusalem. Bahrain also played a leading role as it chaired both the GCC oil ministries undersecretaries meeting and the GCC electricity and water undersecretaries preparatory meeting.
Other notable activities included the Social Development Minister receiving the GCC Executive Bureau Director General and the Municipalities Ministry conducting a Building Information Modeling (BIM) awareness workshop. The Transportation Undersecretary was involved in the 39th session of the UNECE's WP.5.
Furthermore, the Civil Service Bureau has adopted a remote investigation mechanism, and a forum on enhancing equal opportunities committees was held by the Supreme Council for Women and the Civil Service Bureau. The Coast Guard also organized an awareness campaign for fishermen regarding a new marine survey area.
