Manama:This week's BD 70 million issue of Government Treasury Bills has been oversubscribed by 213%. The 91-day maturity bills are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.According to Bahrain News Agency, the issue date for these bills is set for September 30, 2026, with a maturity date of December 30. The weighted average rate of interest is 5.49%, slightly down from the previous issue's rate of 5.50% on September 23.The approximate average price for the issue was 98.630%, with the lowest accepted price recorded at 98.629%. This issuance is identified as No.2141 (ISIN BH0001305877) of Government Treasury Bills, bringing the total outstanding value to BD 2.110 billion.
