Manama:According to Bahrain News Agency, Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Bahrain's Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, emphasized the importance of ensuring uninterrupted electricity and water services as a crucial priority for the nation.
Humaidan stated that Bahrain's electricity and water systems are operating according to strategic plans designed to maintain service continuity and address diverse requirements. This strategy is part of Bahrain's broader national approach to developing these sectors, enhancing their efficiency and readiness, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and guided by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
During recent Iranian attacks, the government focused on continuously monitoring production and consumption indicators, as well as water reserve levels. This vigilance allowed the identification of needs and implementation of measures to ensure uninterrupted services.
The minister highlighted that the ministry remains vigilant in monitoring the system, contributing to the development of operational mechanisms, improving efficiency, and boosting preparedness for varying demands. These efforts aim to bolster the sector's ability to adapt to changing conditions in line with approved plans and procedures.
