CBB’s Islamic Ijara Murabaha Sukuk Fully Subscribed

Manama:The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has announced that the latest issue of its short-term Islamic Ijara Murabaha Sukuk has been fully subscribed.According to Central Bank Of Bahrain, the total subscriptions reached BD 30 million, matching the issue size of BD 30 million. This sukuk has a maturity period of 364 days.The expected return on this sukuk, which starts on 28th September 2026 and matures on 27th September 2027, is 5.69%. This is an increase from the 5.48% return of the previous issue on 31st August 2026.This issuance is designated as 12IM/10 (BH000490J830) and is part of the CBB's ongoing series of short-term Ijara Murabaha Sukuk, issued on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
