Manama: Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB), received a delegation of representatives from European Union (EU) Member States. The delegation included ambassadors from Germany, Croatia, Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, and Poland, who are accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain and reside in Kuwait, along with officials from the embassies of Italy and France.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was part of the delegation's official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, attended by representatives from the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Bahrain EDB. Al Khulaif highlighted the growing relations and partnership between Bahrain, the EU, and its Member States in various fields. She emphasized the commitment to advancing cooperation, particularly in economic and sustainable development, and exploring opportunities that contribute to sustainable development and economic growth.
The meeting also focused on discussing topics of common interest and opportunities to enhance cooperation, exchange expertise, and broaden the partnership between Bahrain and EU Member States. The ambassadors praised Bahrain's progress and development in various domains and expressed their countries' commitment to strengthening cooperation and partnership with Bahrain to support shared aspirations and mutual interests.
