Manama: The Central Bank of Bahrain: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has announced that its latest monthly issue of Government Treasury Bills, valued at BD 35 million, has been oversubscribed by 126%.According to Bahrain News Agency, the Treasury Bills, which carry a maturity period of 182 days, were issued by the CBB on behalf of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The issue date for these bills was September 20, and they are set to mature on March 21, 2027.The weighted average interest rate for the current issue is 5.77%, showing an increase from the 5.60% rate of the previous issue on August 23. The approximate average price for the recently issued bills was 97.166%, with the lowest accepted price recorded at 97.104%.This issuance is designated as issue No. 2139, with the International Securities Identification Number (ISIN) BH00051205O4. The total outstanding value of Government Treasury Bills has now reached BD 2.110 billion.
