Manama: Bahrain All Share Index and Bahrain Islamic Index both closed higher in the latest trading session. Bahrain All Share Index recorded a closing of 1,929.76 points, reflecting a rise of 0.40 points from its previous closing. This increase was primarily driven by gains in the communications services sector and the financials sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced an upward movement, closing at 934.01 points, an increase of 3.96 points from the previous session. Trading activities included 94 equity transactions with a volume of 2,472,906 and a total value of BD 289,317.
The financials sector dominated trading activities, accounting for 78.19% of the total value of securities traded.
