Manama: INJAZ Bahrain hosted its annual appreciation ceremony to acknowledge the significant contributions of its partners, volunteers, educators, coordinators, and schools. This event highlighted their collective efforts in empowering Bahrain's youth and equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge for future success.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ceremony brought together the broader INJAZ Bahrain community to celebrate the accomplishments of the 2025-2026 year, acknowledging those who have dedicated their time, expertise, and resources to support young people across the Kingdom. Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain, emphasized the importance of collective effort in empowering the youth and expressed gratitude to all contributors who help create learning and growth opportunities for young Bahrainis.
A notable highlight of the event was the announcement of the second edition of the Her Highness Shaikha Hessa Award for Inspiring Entrepreneurs and Leaders, for which applications are now open. This award aims to recognize individuals who exhibit inspiring leadership and contribute to entrepreneurship and the development of future generations.
INJAZ Bahrain expressed its gratitude to its Diamond Board Partners, such as Bapco Energies, Tamkeen, National Bank of Bahrain, GPIC, Beyon, Ebrahim K. Kanoo, Boeing, AlMoayyed International Group, Alba, BBK, and BisB, as well as its Diamond Non-Board Partners, including Bahrain Bourse, British Embassy, BMMI, and Al Kooheji Foundation. The organization also thanked its In-Kind Supporters, including Burson Global, KPMG, Qays Al Zubi, the Ministry of Information Affairs, and the Economic Development Board, for their ongoing support.
Volunteer contributions were celebrated, with Bapco Energies receiving the first place in the Volunteer Service Awards for 2,388.5 volunteering hours, followed by Alba with 1,251.5 hours and National Bank of Bahrain with 618 hours. YK AlMoayyed and Sons and Ebrahim K. Kanoo secured the fourth and fifth places with 268 and 206 volunteering hours respectively for the year 2025-2026.
The organization also recognized 23 Outstanding Diamond Volunteers who have completed over 100 volunteering hours with INJAZ Bahrain over the years, and 10 Outstanding Platinum Volunteers who completed 50-99 hours during 2025-2026. Additionally, appreciation was extended to 132 Gold Volunteers, each completing 24 hours during the year, and 36 Outstanding School Coordinators for their significant support and effort.
