Bahrain Elected Vice-President of UNCTAD Trade and Development Board

Geneva: The Kingdom of Bahrain, represented by Maryam Abdulaziz Al Doseri, Commercial Attach© of Bahrain in Geneva, has been elected Vice-President of the Trade and Development Board of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) for a one-year term.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the election reflects Bahrain's growing role in international economic diplomacy and its active contribution to the multilateral system. As Vice-President, Bahrain will serve on the Board's Bureau and contribute to its work and deliberations on key issues related to trade, investment, finance, and development.

The election further underscores Bahrain's commitment to multilateral cooperation and international efforts to advance inclusive and sustainable development.
