Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, visited the Kingdom of Bahrain's pavilion at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM).
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid was received by Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism. The minister noted that His Highness' visit underscores the historical ties between the UAE and Bahrain. During the visit, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid was briefed on the pavilion's showcase, which highlighted Bahrain's key tourism assets, destinations, and experiences, as well as initiatives aimed at bolstering Bahrain's position as a tourism destination both regionally and internationally.
Minister Al Sairafi emphasized that the visit by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid demonstrates the strong and longstanding relations between the two countries. She also underscored the significance of the Arabian Travel Market in promoting Bahrain's tourism offerings, enhancing engagement with partners and representatives from the travel and tourism sector, and supporting greater cooperation and integration in GCC tourism.
Bahrain's participation in the Arabian Travel Market is part of its efforts to exhibit the variety of its tourism offerings, promote its destinations and experiences, and strengthen ties with representatives and experts in the global travel, tourism, and hospitality industries.
