BIC and Sepang International Circuit Begin 20-Day Race Weekend Countdown to Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia 2026

Manama: Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and Sepang International Circuit (SIC) have launched the 20-day countdown to the much-anticipated race weekend of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia 2026, set to take place from October 2 to 4 at SIC.According to Bahrain News Agency, the event will mark the 16th round of the 2026 FIA F1 World Championship, promising a packed programme of activities both on and off the track. The public can look forward to concerts by world-class international artists. On Saturday, October 3, Grammy-nominated DJ and music producer Axwell will perform at SIC, while Martin Garrix, known for several platinum certifications, will headline the post-race celebrations on Sunday, October 4.Axwell, co-founder of Swedish House Mafia and Axwell ? Ingrosso, gained prominence in the early 2000s through remixing works by artists such as Usher, Clipse, and Madonna. He has appeared on DJ Mag's "Top 100 DJs" list nine times and has won four DJ Awards.Martin Garrix is recogni zed as a leading DJ and music producer in pop and electronic music. He has collaborated with artists like Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, and Madonna. Garrix has also performed at major international events, including the Winter Olympics and festivals such as Coachella and Tomorrowland.
