Manama: Bahrain national table tennis player Rashed Khalid Sanad has reached the last 16 at the World Table Tennis (WTT) Feeder Puerto Princesa 2026 in the Republic of the Philippines, marking the first time a Bahraini player has reached this stage at a WTT Feeder tournament in the senior category.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Sanad topped his group in the preliminary round with three consecutive wins before defeating a Malaysian player 3-2 in the last 32. His next challenge is a match against a player from Chinese Taipei.
Sanad is also set to compete at the WTT Feeder Bangkok 2026 from September 14 to 18.
