Berlin: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier of Germany discussed cooperation and means to further develop it across various domains, particularly economic and development sectors, in support of mutual interests and the strategic partnership between the two countries.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during the meeting, held as part of HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed's state visit to Germany, the two leaders reviewed regional and international developments. They also discussed efforts to advance lasting peace in the Middle East as a means of strengthening regional security and stability.
HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed highlighted that UAE-German cooperation dates back to before the establishment of the UAE and has developed over more than five decades, culminating in the strategic partnership between the two countries.
