Manama: The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Ministry of Health held its third regular meeting of 2026, chaired by Dr. Samia Bahram, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health and Chairperson of the Committee.
According to Ministry of Health - Bahrain, the meeting focused on discussing various initiatives and programmes designed to support equal opportunities and enhance the Committee's role within this domain. The Committee also reviewed the Ministry of Health's plans to celebrate Bahraini Women's Day, which includes initiatives and programmes that emphasize the contributions of Bahraini women to the healthcare sector and their active roles in various healthcare fields.
