Manama: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has announced that the latest monthly issuance of the Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities has been oversubscribed, receiving bids amounting to 131% of the offered amount.According to Central Bank of Bahrain, subscriptions totaling BD 65.332 million were submitted for the BD 50 million issuance. The securities have a maturity period of 91 days. The expected return on this issuance is set at 5.31%, slightly higher than the 5.29% return of the previous issuance dated 12th August 2026.The Sukuk Al-Salam securities are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This issuance is identified as issue No.305 (BH0002M293S2) in the series of short-term Sukuk Al-Salam securities.
