Manama: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Communication Centre (NCC), chaired the third meeting of the NCC Board for 2026. The meeting focused on reviewing initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing the government communications system, strengthening coordination between government entities, and developing the capabilities of national professionals in the field.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla emphasized the significant national talent present in the Kingdom of Bahrain, highlighting their ambition, ability, and experience to effectively contribute to government work, particularly in communications. He stressed that investing in this talent by developing their capabilities and expertise is crucial for the present and future of government work and serves as a catalyst for continued development and modernisation.
The Information Minister underscored the importance of ongoing investment in specialized training and development for national professionals. This investment aims to enhance their knowledge and skills, enabling them to keep pace with rapid changes in communications and content, and to effectively utilize modern technologies and tools. Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla noted that the development of government communications is intricately linked to improving the capabilities of its professionals and their ability to anticipate future requirements, while providing them opportunities to innovate and make a substantial impact.
The Board also reviewed developments and initiatives in the shared communications services sector, along with the performance report for the first half of 2026. The meeting included discussions on various agenda items and a follow-up on the implementation of Board decisions issued between 2023 and 2026.
