Manama: Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), received a cable of congratulations from His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, on the occasion of the SCW's Silver Jubilee and 25th anniversary.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the congratulatory message was sent in recognition of the SCW's two and a half decades of contributions under the leadership of Princess Sabeeka. The message highlighted the council's efforts and achievements in promoting women's rights and advancing their status in society over the years.
The Supreme Council for Women, established 25 years ago, has played a significant role in advocating for gender equality and empowering women. Its initiatives have been pivotal in shaping policies that support women's development in various sectors across the kingdom.
