Manama: Dr. Tariq Hamad Al Jalahma, Minister of State for Youth and Sports of the State of Kuwait, accompanied by Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, visited the Gadeha Juniors training camp at Exhibition World Bahrain. The visit was attended by Dr. Abdulrahman Askar, Chief Executive Officer of the General Sports Authority (GSA).
According to Bahrain News Agency, the camp is held in partnership with the Royal Guard of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), under the directives of Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, and the supervision of Brigadier His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Royal Guard Special Force Commander.
The ministers reviewed the camp's training programmes and activities, which focus on discipline, teamwork, and life skills while developing participants' self-confidence, independence, and sense of responsibility. Dr. Al Jalahma commended the camp's programmes and practical training, highlighting the importance of investing in young people and developing their capabilities from an early age through training, challenges, and practical experience.
Gadeha Juniors runs until September 3 and targets participants aged 10 to 17 through activities and challenges designed to develop personal skills, teamwork, responsibility, discipline, initiative, and self-confidence.
