Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, sent two cables of congratulations to Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani, Chairman of the Senate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the National Assembly, on Pakistan's Independence Day.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Chairman also extended a similar congratulatory message to Saqib Rauf, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Bahrain.
