Kuwait Foils Terrorist Plot Targeting Vital Facility

Kuwait: Kuwait's State Security Service foiled a terrorist plot targeting a vital facility in the country and arrested a Kuwaiti national affiliated with the terrorist organisation ISIS before he could carry out the attack, the Ministry of Interior announced.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministry said the arrest followed security monitoring and surveillance operations. Investigations found that the suspect had received training in manufacturing explosives and drones and had built a drone intended for use in the planned attack.

Legal procedures were taken against the suspect, who was referred to the relevant authorities to complete investigations and take the necessary measures in accordance with the law.
