Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in a telephone conversation with Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan. The discussion focused on enhancing the strong fraternal relations between Bahrain and Pakistan, with both parties exploring avenues to bolster bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Bahrain, the ministers also addressed recent regional developments and efforts at both regional and international levels to reduce tensions. They emphasized the importance of maintaining regional security and stability, along with ensuring the freedom of navigation through the strategic Strait of Hormuz. Additionally, the conversation included an exchange of views on opportunities for bilateral coordination through their countries' current non-permanent memberships in the United Nations Security Council, and on other issues of mutual concern.
