Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait strongly condemned the Iranian attack targeting an Emirati tanker while it was transiting the Strait of Hormuz, describing it as a grave violation of international law, including United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817, and a direct threat to maritime navigation and global energy supplies.
According to Bahrain News Agency, in a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the need for an immediate halt to such escalatory acts and reiterated Kuwait's categorical rejection of any attack that threatens the safety of waterways.
The ministry expressed Kuwait's full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates and its support for all measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and interests.
